Megan LeBoutillier’s pillow collection for the A. Korotky Studio Holiday Bazaar is the best ever. Color and texture combinations make the pillows easy to use in just about any setting. I love them by the pair! Come in Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 to 4, meet Megan, and see her quilt marvels. akorotkystudio@gmail.com or call 434 295 5057.

Liz Cherry Yarn

Liz took these two scarves, made from her own handspun mohair and my stash of cashmere, to the Waldorf School last weekend. One of them has already been sold, but several more elegant pieces are for sale this Saturday, Dec. 14, at A. Korotky Studio is Charlottesville. And, great news!, Liz Cherry will be here in the studio from noon to three. Hope to see you here at A. Korotky Studio Holiday Bazaar, 2331 Highland Avenue, Charlottesville 22903. akorotkystudio@gmail.com for more information and further encouragements!

Totally Local!

A. Korotky’s lace gauntlets, made from yarn spun and dyed at Black Twig Farm. There is something absolutely magnetic about this color. And no wonder: the folks at Black Twig dye it with osage orange. Visit soon for this, and many other holiday gifts and some surprises at A. Korotky Studio Holiday Bazaar. December 14, and December 21, from 9 to 4. akorotkystudio@gmail.com for more information.

PS: This is the only pair I have like this!

Flynn's Pin

Flynn Gordon’s work is shown in detail here, placed to hold the edges of my yellow cotton twill scarf in place (see previous photo for the Big Picture). I adore the detail in Flynn’s work, the careful craftsmanship, and it was a pleasure to work with him at A. Korotky Holiday Bazaar. Flynn will be back here at 10 a.m., Saturday Dec. 14, and Saturday, Dec. 21. You will enjoy meeting him, and you won’t want to miss out on a chance to purchase some of this young artist’s work.

Adrienne Does Banners

Adrienne Dent and I have just now gotten several of these fine-looking banners up around my studio. Festive, jolly, and gentle in spirit, these handmade banners are made with all kinds of found and salvaged bits. I think they are handsome and I know you will want to see them and meet Adrienne Dent at A. Korotky Studio Holiday Bazaar this coming Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 to 4 pm.
